Recently Announced Increases from Packaging Suppliers.

Prices are rapidly rising due to various market conditions. To keep our customers abreast of the latest increases in the market, we are publishing them here as they come. Check back frequently to get the most up to date information that you won’t see anywhere else.

Increase notifications that we have received from multiple suppliers.

Please note that the following increases will take effect with orders placed on or after April 29, 2013:

White Shopping Bags 5%

Over the last couple of weeks we have received the following price increase notifications from our manufacturers. Please note that these increases will take effect with orders placed on or after April 1, 2013:

Poly bags 6%

All Bubble and Foam Products 5%

All Mailing Bags 5%

Polyolefin Shrink Film 7%

All Stretch Film 5%

Slim Line CD/DVD Cases 8%

R-Kive Boxes 6%

Bankers Boxes 5%

We need to inform you of increase notifications that we have received from multiple suppliers of various product lines.

Please note that all increases referenced in this letter will take effect with orders placed on or after February 18, 2013. These increases include the following:

Cased Edge Protectors 6%

Poly Strapping 6%

Moving Blankets 6%

Plastic Corrugated Pads 6%

We also received an increase notification from one of our domestic poly bag manufacturers. A selection of poly bags and poly related items will be increasing 2-6%. This will only affect a small percentage of items at this point.

Just as a reminder, as mentioned in our letter dated 1/18/13, industrial tapes are also increasing. The products involved and percentage of increase will vary across product lines. More information will be available on the increase percentages by item on these tapes as the increases become effective.

We need to inform you of increase notifications that we have received from multiple suppliers.

As indicated in a previous letter, our 3M products will be subject to increase on 1/28/13. Again, the products involved and increase percentages will vary across product lines.

Also, the following increases will take effect with orders placed on or after February 18, 2013:

Plastic Corrugated Pads 13%

Paper Bags 3%

Intertape & other Industrial Tapes:

As with the 3M increase, our Industrial Tape Manufacturers have announced a wide range of increase percentage between items within the same item group.
